Studio

ASC Studio is a design studio founded by Ashley Carter. It works on houses, small commercial spaces, interiors and the drawings that get them built, across Toronto and Southern Ontario.

The studio has no house style. A Tudor revival on a Toronto street and a cottage on Georgian Bay ask different questions, and the work is in answering each one carefully at every scale: the site, the house, the room, the fixture. Its references run from Frank Lloyd Wright's houses on their land to Philippe Starck's hotels.
